Conditions and Registration
Dear Artist,
We invite you to enter our Cambridge Autumn Festival Art Exhibition 2026 (CAFAE26) at the Cambridge Town Hall on 19th – 22nd of March 2026. We look forward to receiving your entry into this prestigious exhibition of NZ artists. The opening of the Exhibition will be held on Thursday 19th of March starting at 5.30pm.
The Cambridge Autumn Festival carries on for two weeks and features a huge variety of events and entertainers. It attracts many visitors to Cambridge.
A Registration form is enclosed. Please return by the closing date for entries March 9th 2026 along with your titles form. (Please retain copies of both forms for your records).
Conditions of Entry
1. The registration fee (pay by March 9th) is $35 per artist. Commission is 30% inc gst. There is a maximum of two works per artist. Please price your work to include the commission. There is a minimum sale price of $200.00.
2. All work must be original, and not to have been exhibited in our exhibitions in Cambridge.
3. Works must be ready to be hung with D screws and string in place. Also a swing tag with name of artist, title & price which can be hung over the front of the piece (for curator’s use in hanging).
4. Triptych and diptychs are considered to be one work and must be able to be hung as one piece. MAXIMUM SIZE OF WORK IS 1.5sqm.
5. Hanging and positioning of work is at the sole discretion of the Curator.
6. All media is acceptable but where a photograph has been used and then enhanced with paint this must be clearly stated.
7. Prints of artwork or photographs must be numbered as a limited edition and be framed and ready to hang. Signature and edition number must be visible on print or mat.
8. Insurance and freight of work is the responsibility of the artist.
9. Works being hand delivered to the Cambridge Town Hall, Victoria Street, Cambridge 3434 need to be there on Thursday 19th March between 9am and 10.30am.

Measure your wrapped parcel height x length x width.
Weigh your parcel.
IMPORTANT: Record all the above details and keep them somewhere safe. Suggestion - email yourself the details.
Organise pick up with courier and allow time for your painting to get to 34 Watkins Road between the 12th and 17th of March 2026.
You will be phoned at the end of the exhibition to let you know if your painting has sold.
If your painting has not sold please order and pay for the return of your painting (we cannot do that for you). Contact your courier and order and pay for a pick up from 34 Watkins Road, Cambridge to your address, using the dimensions and weight you wrote down when you sent the painting.
10. Forward the label and confirmation email provided by your courier/NZ Post to lynnwaters2014@gmail.com along with your name so we send the right painting to the right person.
11. The convention team will package your painting using your own packaging, and using the information you’ve provided, will arrange the pick up with your choice of company.
12. The Festival and Exhibition will be opened at a Preview Function in the Town Hall between 5.30pm and 7pm on Thursday 19th March. All artists and buyers are welcome.
13. The Exhibition will be open to the public on Friday and Saturday 20th/21st of March from 9.30am to 4.30pm and on Sunday 22nd March from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
14. There will be three People’s Choice Awards, first, second and third. These have been donated by Gordon Harris. We are also contacting local galleries to choose their favs for a prize. That will be a surprise!
