Cambridge Society of Arts Inc was established in the 1960's to support and nourish art in the community.
Our home, since 1985, is our well-equipped, friendly studio, The Painting Place, where our artists meet to create, learn, grow and share their love of art.
The Painting Place is a historic building, situated in Te Koutu Domain, an inspiring setting.
We welcome new members to the Cambridge Art Society and invite you to apply to join us. When you become a member you join our enthusiastic, talented, sharing members who love their art and share their enjoyment and skills to enhance your artistic experience.

Calendars will be available at the Passion for Art open studios at the Painting Place on Saturday November 14th and Sunday the 15th.
This Cambridge Watercolor Workshop will be presented over five “sessions” with a separate painting/demonstration/workshop in each session. Participants will attend all five sessions —
Friday 30th October 5.30 pm – 8.00 pm
Saturday 31st October 9.30 am – 4.00 pm
Sunday 1st November 9.30 am – 4.00 pm

The Cambridge Art Society is participating in the Spring Passion for Art open studios!
Passion for Art is Saturday 14 & Sunday 15 November 2026. The Cambridge Art Society studio is open from 10am to 4pm.
WHEN: Thursday 18 to Sunday 21 March, 2027
